Richard Demirjian

Richard Demirjian is President of TCCI Manufacturing headquartered in Decatur, IL a global leader in compressor technology with a footprint that spans 10 countries. Richard has worked for more than 35 years in the business driving sales growth, global expansion, and advancements in new products and technology. He has strategically led the transformation of the business resulting in more than 300 percent growth in sales, the expansion of global manufacturing in six countries, and the launch of over 20 new products and technologies in the last five years. As the transportation sector shifts to sustainable mobility, Richard has led the way to bring best in class products including electric compressors offering the largest range of capacity spanning 2kw – 30kw and 24V to 850V for commercial vehicle, automotive and same day delivery markets.

Under Richard’s leadership, TCCI sets a corporate purpose to unite different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives while delivering sustainable solutions that make a global impact and support our customers effort on the road to zero emissions. He has set the stage for transforming product innovation and was recognized with highest honors as International Motors’ (formerly known as Navistar) 2022 Supplier of the Year in Innovation and consistently been recognized by Caterpillar in their top 2% of suppliers with SQEP Gold Certification.

Richard is globally recognized as an industry thought leader and published in trade media including OEM Off-highway, the Buzz-Electric Vehicle News, Auto Trends Magazine, SAE International, Bus Coach India, MACS Worldwide, The Illinois Manufacturer and Automotive Air Conditioning Reporter. Richard is a 1988 graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and is married to Anne Demirjian and has three children Thomas, Claire and Joseph.
