Bridget Gainer

Bridget Gainer is the Global Head of Public Affairs & Policy for Aon where she leads Aon’s engagement with governments around the world for both commercial and strategic initiatives, bringing the catalyzing power of risk and insurance to bear on some of the most important issues: climate transition, Infrastructure, healthcare and retirement and international market access. She is also the executive sponsor of Aon’s apprenticeship program and was instrumental in founding the Chicago Apprentice Network.

Elected to the Cook County Board in 2010, Bridget serves as Commissioner and also founded the Cook County Land Bank Authority (CCLBA) for which she is the Board Chairman. The CCLBA revitalizes neighborhoods by reclaiming vacant land and buildings, working with local developers and creating home ownership. The Land Bank will soon complete its 2000th rehab and has generated over $200 Million in community wealth.
