Intersect Illinois is looking for a seasoned Director of Donor Relations with a demonstrated track record of building and implementing effective fundraising strategies with both corporate and individual donors. The Director reports directly to, and works closely with, the CEO to reaching Intersect’s fundraising goals. Our ideal candidate is a skilled manager, communicator, and leader who is passionate about Intersect Illinois’ mission and will represent Intersect to internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and integrity. The candidate must be comfortable working collaboratively with the executive team and board of directors in addition to their support staff.
The Director of Business Development is responsible for managing company expansion and relocation projects from beginning to end, including compiling information for companies to make informed decisions, and highlighting Illinois’ competitive advantages so companies choose to invest and create jobs in Illinois. The position is a part of the business development team, which is responsible for bringing business opportunities to the state and managing the pipeline of projects to completion. The team works closely with site consultants, brokers, corporate end-users, local economic development offices, utilities, and other strategic partners. The team also collaborates with State economic development leadership on major projects requiring programmatic support, including incentives and grants. The Director of Business Development is a full-time position that reports to the Vice President of Business Development.
The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for planning, developing and implementing the organization’s overall digital marketing strategy. That includes utilizing different digital marketing channels with the goal of attracting domestic and international companies to locate or expand in Illinois. The position is a part of the marketing team, which is responsible for positioning Illinois as the top location for businesses to grow and thrive. The team also collaborates with economic development partners throughout the state and works closely with Intersect’s business development, communications, fundraising and research teams to bring jobs and investment to Illinois. The Director of Digital Marketing is a full-time position that reports to the CEO.
