Brent Case

Brent has over 15-years of economic development experience supporting business growth and expansions, assisting entrepreneurs, developing programs and infrastructure, and recruiting domestic and international private sector companies.  He has over a decade of operational and sales experience in manufacturing and global logistics. 

Prior to joining Intersect Illinois, Brent was the vice president of business attraction for a regional economic development agency in Lansing, Michigan.  Brent also developed international logistics, trade and business initiatives while serving in leadership positions at the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Capital Region Airport Authority. 

Brent has bachelor of science and master of arts degrees in industrial management & technology from Central Michigan University.  He is a certified global business professional (CGBP) through Nasbite and certified in production & inventory management (CPIM) through APICS.  Additionally, Brent was a US Army paratrooper in the Persian Gulf War and later served in the only Airborne Ranger unit in the Michigan National Guard.  Brent has two teenage sons, Austin and Ayden.
